THANK YOU FOR ENTERING THE FRANÇAIS SANS FRONTIÈRES CONTEST

The Digital Creative Meetup dedicated to

Ontario’s French as a Second Language Students created in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Education

 

A  jury of professionals met virtually on April 15th to select the lucky winners.

The winners of the FRANÇAIS SANS FRONTIÈRES contest are the following: 

  • French immersion (grades 1-3): the class of teacher Mamadou Sanogo from the Islington JMS School (Toronto District School Board) with the podcast, Le Rickshaw
  • Intensive French and French immersion (grades 4-6): the class of teacher Vanessa Garzon from the Glen Park PS School (Toronto District School Board) with the digital story, Ma nourriture préférée
  • Core French (grades 7-8): the class of teacher Chafica Al-Dahr from the Mother Cabrini Elementary School (Toronto Catholic District School Board) with the digital story, Simon et Sean
  • Intensive French and French immersion (grades 7-8): the teacher Sylvie Laconie from Immaculata High School (Ottawa Catholic School Board) with the digital story, La Slovénie.

All these classes have won a classroom kit worth $1000 including an iPad and a professional microphone was sent to winners. They can keep producing podcasts and digital stories.
